Fairbanks' Hunter Bishop back up to AHL

Published: February 22, 2013

Hunter Bishop, who has furnished the ECHL's South Carolina Stingrays with a point per game, has been summoned back to the AHL -- the Manchester Monarchs have signed him to a professional tryout agreement.

Bishop, who has 47 games of AHL experience (6-7--13 and +12), including one game this season with Rochester, is tied for 16th in the ECHL in points and tied for sixth in goals with 24-25--49 totals in 48 games.

In another move, ECHL Kalamazoo traded former (briefly) Alaska Aces goaltender Brooks Ostegard to Trenton.
