Recap: Washington vs. Miami

Miami's Christian Yelich scored the tying run in the top of the ninth and the Marlins and Washington Nationals ended in a 2-2 tie after 10 innings of spring training play on Sunday.

Jake Jefferies was credited the RBI on a groundout in the ninth to move the tying run across. Chris Coughlan drove home the Marlins' only other run as well on a groundout, his in the third inning.

Anthony Rendon produced both runs for the Nationals in the fifth with a two- run homer of the Marlins' Ryan Webb. Jordan Zimmermann started for Washington and gave up just one run on two hits over three innings.

Henderson Alvarez made the start for Miami, pitching two scoreless innings with two strikeouts.
