Recap: Cleveland vs. Cincinnati

Omir Santos had a two-run double and the Cleveland pitching staff surrendered only a single hit, as the Indians shutout the Cincinnati Reds, 3-0, in spring training action on Sunday.

Carlos Moncrief added an RBI double and seven Indians pitchers combined for eight strikeouts. Zach McAllister and Daisuke Matsuzaka, who signed with Cleveland this offseason, each pitched two scoreless innings.

Jason Donald had the lone hit for Cincinnati. Josh Ravin was tagged with the loss after surrendering all three runs in the seventh inning. Sam Lecure started for the Reds and Manny Parra succeeded him. Both pitchers tossed two shutout innings of work.
