Former UAA winger Glencross bags 100th career NHL assist, adds goal

Published: February 24, 2013

Former UAA winger Curtis Glencross, who recently scored his 100th NHL goal, tonight racked his 100th NHL assist, and also added a goal for the Calgary Flames in a 5-4 win over Phoenix.

That multiple-point night gives Glencross career totals of 101-100--201 in 375 NHL games. In 17 games this season, he owns 7-4--11 totals.

Hockey has turned out pretty well for Glencross since he left UAA following his sophomore season, when the Anaheim Ducks gave him a $750,000 signing bonus. He is currently in the second year of a four-year, $10.2 million contract with his hometown Flames.
