UAA gets defenseman recruit for 2014

According to Chris Heisenberg's very reliable recruiting website, UAA has landed a defenseman out of the British Columbia Hockey League who will join the Seawolves in 2014.

UAA has received a commitment from Garrett Brown of the Cowichan Valley Capitals, who in a press release confirmed the commitment.

Brown, 19, leads the Capitals in assists and points with 8-20--28 totals in 48 games. He also is tied for the team lead in power-play goals with six. Cowichan is last in the 16-team league.

Brown is tied for 11th in points among BCHL defensemen.

Brown is listed as a 6-foot, 190-pounder from Beaumont, Alberta.
