Recap: Washington vs. Miami

Nathan Eovaldi tossed two perfect innings and Ed Lucas delivered a two-run single as the Miami Marlins posted a 5-1 win over the Washington Nationals in a Grapefruit League clash.

Eovaldi struck out three of the six batters he faced in his first outing of the spring, with Tom Koehler and A.J. Ramos also pitching two scoreless frames in the victory.

Donovan Solano added a sacrifice fly while finishing 2-for-2 with a run scored at the plate for Miami, which held the Nationals to just three hits on the afternoon.

Offseason acquisition Dan Haren went two innings in his Washington debut, with the veteran righty allowing a run on two hits and fanning three batters.
