Anchorage, AK — Erik Braund left Alaska and landed in New York a few years ago, and his various ventures have often involved his home state. He's booked Alaska tours for Norwegian bands and produced records for Jared Woods and The Hoons, to name a couple.
His studio in Brooklyn is called Braund Sound, and the live-in-the-studio series Live at Braund Sound has featured the likes of A Place to Bury Strangers to Metz. The Meg Mackey Band made the trip from Alaska back in January. Stream the three songs below, and check out liveatbraundsound.com to hear the rest of the series.
