Knicks' Anthony questionable for Wednesday

Published: March 4, 2013

The New York Knicks announced Tuesday that forward Carmelo Anthony is questionable for Wednesday's road tilt against the Detroit Pistons with a stiff/sore right knee.

Anthony left New York's 102-97 victory over the Cleveland Cavaliers on Monday in the second quarter when he tripped over his own feet and bent his knee awkwardly as he fell to the floor.

He got up under his own power, but immediately went to the locker room and did not return.

Anthony came into the contest tied with Oklahoma City's Kevin Durant as the league's top scorer, averaging 28.6 points per game. He had six points on 1- for-5 shooting before exiting with the injury.
