What a surprise that a superintendent, whose wife would not move to Alaska, would stay only one year. The school board needs to take a close look at the success the school district has had bringing in outsiders to serve as superintendent. Maybe a proven commitment to Alaska is the top priority for a new superintendent. Alaska has the best in every profession and education is no exception.
