Mondo Utah-SF trade involves two former Aces (Isherwood, Falite)

Published: March 5, 2013

The ECHL's Utah Grizzlies and San Francisco Bulls engineered a seven-player deal today, and the gist of it for the Alaska Aces is they are not done playing against former Aces Mark Isherwood and Kory Falite this season.

The Grizzlies traded defenseman Isherwood (5-17--22 in 37 games), winger Falite (11-21--32 in 59), and got NHL Montreal to assign forward Ian Schultz (7-10--17 and 156 PIMs in 40 games) to the Bulls. In return, the Bulls sent four rookies to Utah -- those are defenseman Cody Carlson (5-15--20 in 40), and forwards Jordan Clendenning (4-15--19 in 56), Sebastian Trudeau (1-4--5 in 20) and Jonathan Lessard (1-4--5 in 23).

According to the Bulls, Isherwood, Falite and Schultz are expected to make their San Francisco debuts Wednesday night when the Bulls entertain the league-leading Aces in the opener of a three-game set at the Cow Palace.
