The Gandhi-like pose of Vic Fisher, (TV News cover, March 3) sans everything except shorts and glasses, reminded me of another political force in Alaska. Some fifty years ago when octogenarian Sen. Ernest Gruening changed his mind and decided to run again, stripped down to do pushups in the Anchorage Westward Hotel for the press to show he was capable of another tour of the Senate. It made front page and evening news.
