Kelsey Chapple (“Coghill wages war against women,” Letters, March 4) needs to read Senate Bill 49. It simply states that unless an abortion is medically necessary, it will not be paid for with state money (MY tax dollars). Simple enough.
He is not “waging a war against women’s ability to make their own decisions.” SB49 just says that if you want an abortion, you’ll have to pay for it yourself.
