I thought the people that were voted into office were supposed to be representing the best interests of the people who voted for them. In the last year, I have been overwhelmingly disappointed with the behavior of our city and state representatives. 

Switching one’s official party directly after being voted into office, overturning wastewater laws that were voted in by the people, attacking the unions to give the Assembly more power and the people less, and even considering changing the state’s constitution in order to give taxpayer money to non-tax-paying organizations — what is wrong with this picture?
