Here's Anchorage Animal Care and Control's Adoption of the Week, courtesy of Brooke Taylor, AACCC public relations coordinator.

Please meet Radar, a 9 year old, neutered male, Brittany Spaniel mix. Radar is a sweet, intelligent senior that would love a quiet, adult home to retire to! This friendly fellow is active, attentive, focused, and really wants to please. Super smart, he has field triathlon training for bird hunting from his previous home. He rides fine in the car and has been to obedience classes. He will need an adult only home where he can be the only pet in the house. Very companionable guy, both indoors and out--he'll love an active home. Radarcan be adopted for only $42, as he is already neutered and current on vaccinations, which includes his MOA dog license and microchip. Call 343-8122 for more information.

Adoption update: Petey has been adopted!
