— The South by Southwest Festival in Austin, Texas, was host to MTVU's Woodie Awards Thursday. MTVU is a college-centric channel, available on campuses across the country and part of the MTV Networks. The Woodies were established to award the best in indie rock and underground hip hop.

The 2013 Woodie of the Year went to Machine Gun Kelly, who topped nominees Asap Rocky, Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros, Fun, Grimes, Kendrick Lamar and Walk the Moon. The full list of winners is over here, and third from the bottom is the award for best college radio station, which went to KSUA at University of Alaska Fairbanks.

Other stations nominated were from Michigan State, Ohio and University of California-Berkeley, among others.

In winning, KSUA DJs will get to host an episode of "College Radio Countdown" on MTVU, which lets a radio station choose its favorite music videos.

The awards ceremony aired Sunday on both MTV and MTVU but will repeat throughout the week on MTVU, channel 138 on GCI. Check the TV listings for the full schedule.
