Recap: Kansas City vs. Chicago WSox

Alex Gordon and Billy Butler each had two hits and knocked in two runs, as the Kansas City Royals thumped the Chicago White Sox, 10-0, in Cactus League action.

Eric Hosmer, back with the Royals after playing for the United States in the World Baseball Classic, went 2-for-4 with an RBI and a run scored.

Kansas City starter Luis Mendoza gave up four hits and struck out four over five innings.

Jordan Danks supplied two of Chicago's five hits.

White Sox starter Zach Stewart allowed seven runs on eight hits and three walks in 2 2/3 innings.
