Letter: Library redo doesn’t make sense

Published: March 19, 2013

Anchorage is a cash strapped community this year with cuts to critical services including buses and the school district. Now the mayor has unveiled plans for a multi-million dollar city library redo. The library’s biggest customer is the city assembly and I am sure that this project will not benefit those who were victims of the latest cuts.

The number one priority to us tax payers is the well being of all of citizen in the community. This doesn’t make a lot of sense.
