Letter: At last, numbers of feral cats may be declining in the city

Published: March 21, 2013

I have written several scathing letters to the Daily News regarding feral cats. I am so pleased that perhaps they made an impact. This is the first winter in my 10-plus years here at the Club Apartments that no stray cats have shown up to be fed on a cold winter’s night. I kept waiting and started to feel a little lonely but then I realized that’s a good thing! No cats getting into garbage bags. I even left food out all winter, nothing.

I am proud of you all, and thank you for being responsible. With the money I saved, I will be sending a check to the cat shelter here in town. I am so proud of you all!
