Anchorage, ALASKA – Longtime journalist Ed Bennett has joined Bradley Reid + Associates, Inc. as a Copywriter/Editor, where he helps ensure quality control for the agency’s many projects. He previously served as manager of assignments and web content at KTUU Channel 2 News.

Besides television, Bennett’s career includes writing and editing for radio, weekly and daily newspapers, telecommunications and the Web. In recent years his focus has been on managing the flow of information in a world that has evolved from single channels to social media, from desktops to smartphones – all while maintaining accuracy, timeliness and relevance for the audience.

His accomplishments include co-founding  “Alaska Review,” Alaska’s first statewide television news magazine; organizing two dozen “Net Days” which wired Anchorage schools for the Internet, while working as Senior Communications Specialist for what is now Alaska Communications; business editor for the Anchorage Times; and Managing Editor for the Alaska Journal of Commerce.

Bennett was one of the founders of Nova Riverunners, Inc. and has operated a photography business for more than 10 years with his wife, Georgia.

He holds a bachelor’s degree in communications and an MBA with an emphasis on telecommunications management, both from Alaska Pacific University. He is accredited in public relations by the Public Relations Society of America.

Bradley Reid + Associates is a full service advertising, marketing and public relations agency. It has been one of the Pacific Northwest’s premier agencies for the last 45 years with clients ranging from rural Alaska to major companies statewide and in the lower 48.
