UAA adds Soldotna forward Brad Duwe from NAHL Kenai River

Add another recruit for UAA -- the Seawolves have received a commitment from Soldotna forward Brad Duwe, who The Blog imagines will probably join them as a walk-on.

The NAHL announced the commitment Friday, the same day UAA fired Dave Shyiak after eight seasons.

In any event, Duwe plays for his hometown Kenai River Brown Bears of the North American Hockey League. He owns 8-9--17 and +2 totals in 25 games this season.

Duwe did not play last season.

Two seasons ago with Kenai River, he logged 17-33--50 and +9 totals in 50 games.

By The Blog's count, that makes seven recruits, all forwards, to join UAA next fall.
