Q: What one thing do you like best about Anchorage?

District 2: Seat A

Chugiak/Eagle River

Amy Demboski: I love the rural, small town, characteristics of Chugiak-Eagle River

Peter Mulcahy: The warmth. The people of this community are the most genuine, most caring, most involved we have ever met in all our years of travel.

Bob Lupo: It is ten miles away from Eagle River.

District 3: Seat D

West Anchorage

Ernie Hall: The fact that I live in the Anchorage bowl with the mountains wrapping their arms around me, making me feel a part of the community.

Nick Moe: The cultural diversity, the sense of community and the natural beauty of Anchorage.

West Anchorage

Cheryl Frasca: The "can do" spirit of its people.

Phil Isley: If you want, it is possible to earn a living here.

Tim Steele: The character of the people that live here.

Midtown Anchorage

Andy Clary: That we have all the amenities of a major city - the shops, the restaurants, the economy - yet Alaska is at our backdoor. You can leave work and be on the top of a mountain in an hour. This is a city where opportunities abound.
