Ontario is just bum-rushing Utah

The Blog is gonna go out on a limb here and declare that the Utah Grizzlies might want to get a better handle on the Ontario Reign's top line of C.J. Stretch, Derek Couture and Kyle Kraemer.

That trio torched the Grizzlies tonight for the second straight game to give Ontario a 7-2 win over the visitors that, coupled with Tuesday's 5-2 Ontario win, affords the Reign a 2-0 lead in the ECHL first-round best-of-7 series.

Stretch tonight racked four goals to give him five for the series. Kraemer bagged three assists. Couture had one goal, one helper and a Gordie Howe hat trick -- he fought former Aces forward T.J. Battani all of three seconds into the blowout.

In two games, Ontario's top line has furnished a scoring line of 8-9--17, is a combined +18 and has cranked off 26 shots on goal.

Kind of a tough night for Utah defensemen James Martin and Evan Stoflet, both of whom ate a -5.

Nor is it a good sign for the Grizzlies that they have used both goalies in both games.
