ECHL: Colorado stays alive with win over Idaho

The ECHL's Colorado Eagles earned themselves another road trip tonight, and that's always a good thing in the playoffs.

Colorado scored three goals in the first 15 minutes -- two of them came on the power play -- and beat the Idaho Steelheads 7-4 in Loveland, Colo.

Idaho still leads the best-of-7 series, 3-2, heading into Friday's Game 6 in Boise.

Colorado later in tonight's game led 5-0 and 6-1, and Idaho cut its deficit to 6-4 with 9:22 to go, but could not inch closer.
