The Blog bobbled the puck not getting this info out much earlier, but here it is -- Norwich defenseman Kayla Parsons of Fairbanks is a Division III second-team All-American.

Parsons, a junior, racked 11-15--26 totals in 29 games this season in helping the Cadets to the NCAA tournament.

She finished third in D-III in goals by a defenseman, fifth in points per game (0.90) and tied for fifth in power-play goals (7).

Parsons was voted onto the East second team by the American Hockey Coaches Association.
