Anchorage physician named to Alaska State Medical Board

Grant Roderer, M.D., was recently appointed to the Alaska State Medical Board. Dr. Roderer is a fellowship-trained board-certified interventional pain specialist who has been practicing medicine in Alaska for nearly 13 years.  He is co-founder and vice president of Advanced Pain Centers of Alaska and, more recently, co-founder of South Anchorage Surgery Center.  Dr. Roderer was instrumental in bringing quality pain medicine services to Anchorage, Fairbanks and Wasilla, and treats patients from all over the state of Alaska.  Dr. Roderer’s expertise in pain medicine is essential for the ongoing challenges that Alaska faces with appropriate utilization of controlled medications.
