RIM Design names two new principals

RIM Design is pleased to announce that Natasha Schmidt and Megan Lierman have become Principals in the firm effective January 1, 2013. 

Both Natasha and Megan were born and raised in Alaska. Megan holds a BA in Interior Design from Seattle Pacific University and has been with RIM Design 10.5 years. She is NCIDQ Certified, LEED AP, a Construction Documents Technician, and current President of the Alaska Chapter, American Society of Interior Designers. Megan’s projects at RIM Design include Credit Union 1 Headquarters and Branches, Doctor’s Suites on the Providence Campus, and the National Park Service Headquarters Building.


Natasha, a BFA Cum Laude Interior Design graduate of Savannah College of Art and Design, celebrates her 10th anniversary with RIM Design in August. She is NCIDQ Certified, LEED Green Associate, and is active with the Alaska Chapter American Society of Interior Designers. Some of Natasha’s highlighted projects include Alyeska Pipeline Headquarters Offices, Concourse B retail shops at TSAIA, and Anchorage School District Education Center renovation at Boniface Mall.

RIM Design is a woman-owned small business that has been providing design services for over 30 years.  In addition to its Anchorage headquarters, RIM Design has an office in Hawaii.
