Bradley Reid promotes two, hires one

Posted on May 2, 2013

Anchorage – Bradley Reid + Associates, a full-service ad agency, is pleased to announce the promotions of Jason Smith and Jontue Hollingsworth.

Smith has been named Creative Director of Bradley Reid.  His priorities in his new job will be to foster an environment at the agency that encourages creative thinking; and to ensure that everything produced by Bradley Reid meets the company’s high standards for quality.

Smith has been with the agency since 2006 as an Art Director, creating print ads, branding campaigns and marketing materials for many of the agency’s clients, including ConocoPhillips Alaska, the Pebble Partnership, the Alaska Permanent Fund, CIRI Alaska Tourism Corp.  and Alaska Public Media. He received a BFA degree in design from Utah State University at Logan.  He is launching himself into a central role in creative oversight of all agency projects.

Hollingsworth will become Associate Creative Director. In his new role, he will help set the overall mood and tone of public relations and advertising campaigns for multiple clients. Hollingsworth joined Bradley Reid as an Art Director and has been a key designer for the firm. His work includes designing a new logo for the Alaska Marine Highway; design of this year’s Arctic Slope Regional Corp. annual report; and art direction for photo and video shoots. He is a graduate of the Visual Communication and Design program at the University of Nebraska. His work has received numerous honors for creativity and excellence in design.

“Jason and Jontue will take Bradley Reid to new creative heights,” said agency president, Debbie Reinwand. “We are thrilled to promote these two creative minds."

Also, Janice Wright has joined the firm as Account Supervisor.

Wright will oversee advertising and public relations projects and serve as a link between clients and Bradley Reid’s staff of creative professionals.

“I love the process of brainstorming new ideas, coordinating the words and artwork from the different departments, and with feedback from the client, developing something that is effective,” Wright said.

Wright brings more than 25 years of media sales to her new job. She spent nearly 15 years at KTVA Channel 11 as an outside sales person, followed by 10 years at GCI developing marketing strategies and branding on 54 channels in 18 markets statewide.

“We are delighted to have a manager come on board with this level of experience,” said agency president Debbie Reinwand. “Janice’s organizational abilities and knowledge of the Alaska marketplace are invaluable.”

Bradley Reid + Associates is a full service advertising, marketing and public relations agency. It has been one of the Pacific Northwest’s premier agencies for the last 45 years with clients ranging from rural Alaska to major companies statewide and in the lower 48.
