— When Foreigner takes the Borealis Stage at the Alaska State Fair on Aug. 22, the band will be joined by a chorus of 25 Alaskan teens, and auditions to be a part of that chorus are under way now.

The fair is asking high school students from across the state to record videos of themselves performing "America the Beautiful" a cappella. To audition, upload the video to YouTube and include the link in your online submission. Winners will join the band for a rendition of "I Want to Know What Love Is." The general public will vote for 10 singers to join the band, while the fair and choir director will choose who fills the remaining 15 spots.

Visit alaskastatefair.org for full details on how to enter the contest and who is eligible. Tickets to Foreigner are $35 or $70 for reserved seating. Neither price includes fair admission, which is also require to attend the concert.
