Video: Unalaska police break up eagle party in bed of fish-filled pickup

AnchorageMay 8, 2013

The Unalaska Department of Public Safety tells KUCB there were so many eagles hanging around a pickup in the Safeway parking last Thursday that police had to be called to break up the party. There were no injuries. UDPS director Jamie Sunderland:  “We confirmed they did have a bunch of fillets in the [truck], and they were trying to get rid of it, but there were so many eagles that they were, I think, somewhat alarmed to go near the vehicle, because it was just being swarmed by eagles.”
