Borge is state's first Certified Professional Paralegal

Carol A. Borge has become the first Certified Professional Paralegal in Alaska after successfully completing the National Association of Legal Professional examination in March 2013.  Carol emigrated to Anchorage, Alaska from Scotland in 1983 to be with her family.  Carol began her law career in Edinburgh and continued her work in the legal profession as Legal Secretary to Alaska Legal Services Corporation and Paralegal to the Pro Bono Program.  Carol has been a Legal Assistant and Paralegal in various firms.  Since 2005, Carol has been working with the law firm of Fortier & Mikko, P.C. as a Legal Assistant.  Carol is a member of the National Association of Legal Professionals and is on the Education Committee for the association.
