Tracking some Alaska connections

Been a bit busy with some other stuff, but let's take a quick run to cover our bases on some Alaska-connected cats on the move.

Goaltender Jordan Pearce of Anchorage is up with the Detroit Red Wings during their second-round playoff series against the Chicago Blackhawks. He's basically serving as a third goalie and probably seeing a decent amount of practice rubber so No. 1 Jimmy Howard stays as fresh as possible.

Former UAA defenseman Mat Robinson next season will move from Timra in the Swedish second division, where he played this season, to Dinamo Riga in the Russia-based KHL, considered by many the second-best league in the world behind the NHL.

And former UAF defenseman Scott Enders, who played for ECHL Bakersfield this past season, is headed across the pond. He's signed with Briancon in France. That team plays in the Ligue Magnus, which is a pretty awesome name.
