Resurrection Roadhouse at Seward Windsong Lodge Receives Award of Excellence from TripAdvisor

Posted on May 30, 2013

The world's largest travel site, TripAdvisor, has awarded the Resurrection Roadhouse at the Seward Windsong Lodge with their prestigious Award of Excellence. In addition to Kenai Fjords Tours and Talkeetna Alaskan Lodge also receiving this award for 2013, CIRI Alaska Tourism celebrates the announcement of Resurrection Roadhouse being granted this recognition. Only 10 percent of worldwide businesses listed on TripAdvisor receive this prestigious accolade, which honors hospitality excellence and is given only to establishments consistently achieving outstanding traveler reviews on TripAdvisor.

To qualify for the Certificate of Excellence, a business must maintain an overall rating of four or higher, out of a possible five, as reviewed by TripAdvisor travelers. Additionally, the volume of reviews in the previous 12 months is also considered as part of the criteria for the award.

Located in the Resurrection River Valley at Seward Windsong Lodge, the Resurrection Roadhouse is the onsite dining experience for lodge guests and a favorite with the Seward locals. Open mid-May to mid-September, guests enjoy spectacular views and a relaxed atmosphere with the finest Alaska cuisine prepared with the culinary excellence of Executive Chef Slater, recently recognized in Best Chefs America.

As with all CIRI Alaska Tourism companies, the Resurrection Roadhouse endeavors to offer customers the best possible experience in Alaska. This award is evidence our efforts are resulting in positive reviews on TripAdvisor.
