Eve to Adam, coming to Chilkoot Charlie's on June 14.

Cost of concerts too high? KZND radio and Chilkoot Charlie's have a deal for you, the "Low Dough Show." The idea, says publicist Karen Sundell, is "to bring breaking bands into Anchorage before they become really famous" and to charge chump change for the show.

On June 14, the band with be Eve to Adam, a quartet whose new single "Straightjacket Supermodel" rose to #37 at the Active Rock website listing. They have a new album due for release this summer to be followed by a national tour. So the next time they come to town, it may cost more than the $5 they're charging for the Flag Day show.
