A Wasilla woman was arrested for allegedly driving on the Seward Highway while under the influence of prescription drugs, according to the Alaska State Troopers.

Multiple drivers on the highway reported a gray Subaru crossing center and fog lines and swerving on the highway around 3 p.m. Friday, troopers said in an online dispatch.

Troopers pulled Francine Curran, 56, over after finding her car near mile post 107.

"Further investigation revealed Curran was in possession of a controlled substance (prescription pills) that could not be verified as belonging to her," according to the report.

She was arrested for DUI and misconduct involving a controlled substance and taken to the Anchorage Jail, where her bail was set at $1,150.
