Letter: For jobs that produce, not spend

AnchorageJune 23, 2013

The state is like a monkey with its fist stuck in a bottle of shiny rocks. It just cannot get past its personal greed to save itself. The state needs to manage its public unions with its bloated salaries and pensions before it gets more money from the taxpayers and the oil industry.

The oil industry produces jobs that produce wealth. All the state does with more money is get bigger and more inefficient. Let’s not drive off the producers of Alaska and end up bankrupt with a bunch of pensioners and no services.

Do not sign the petition. We need jobs that produce wealth, not consume it.
