Wine of the week: 2012 vintage Milbrandt Vineyards

June 27, 2013

Sometimes what's needed is a simple glass of white wine to make the meal a special oasis in the busy day. From the 2012 vintage, Milbrandt Vineyards has produced just that. The Traditions Chardonnay is charming and won't hurt your pocket book. Its sweet apple fruit and vibrant acidity make a juicy combination on the palate. Reasonable alcohols of 12.5 percent keep the calories down and enjoyment up. Costs about $14.
