Letter: Indoor tennis is very practical

Anchorage Daily NewsJuly 9, 2013

Tennis is the fastest growing major sport in America. Currently, Anchorage is the only metropolitan community in the Pacific Northwest that does not have a public indoor facility. Long winters and often rainy overcast summers, makes an indoor tennis facility very practical.

The Alaska Tennis Association teaches 10 and under tennis to over 400 kids each year. Let’s grow the game and continued sportsmanship year round, such that all of us have affordable access.
