Aces alum Gaucher headed back to the U.S.

Defenseman Ryan Gaucher, who helped the Alaska Aces to the 2006 Kelly Cup, then started making his tour of Europe -- Austria, Denmark, Germany and Italy -- is headed back to the U.S. for his next pucks destination.

Gaucher, 35, has signed with the Arizona Sundogs of the Central Hockey League.

Gaucher last season played in the Italian second division and racked 14-26--40 totals in 40 games.

In 42 regular-season games for the Aces in 2006, he racked stupid totals for a blueliner -- 15-45--60 totals, and a +25.
