Letter: Don’t multitask; watch the road

July 13, 2013

Speeding In Alaska! No truth to that. The roads are all blocked by vehicles going 10, 15, 20, even 30 miles per hour below the speed limit. The drivers are all too busy with cellphones, smokes, eats and drinks to pay attention to their driving habits. Speeders are not the cause of accidents here. Multitasking drivers are. Also, RVs. If you have five vehicles behind you while you are driving at less than a snail’s pace PLEASE pull over and let the other vehicles pass like the road signs tell you to do.
