Where a few former Aces will play next season

A few former Alaska Aces have lined up places to play next season -- two are sticking with the teams that employed them last season and another is making a big change of venue.

Former Aces center Ethan Cox -- not a bad resume kid, what with those two ECHL Kelly Cups in three seasons -- will stick with the defending champion Reading Royals after helping them seize hardware. Cox, an alternate captain for the Royals, last season went 8-21--29 and +14 in 65 regular-season games and was voted the club's Defensive Player of the Year.

Meanwhile, former Aces enforcer Tim Spencer is headed across the pond to the Sheffield Steelers of the Great Britain-based Elite Ice Hockey League. He was with AHL Springfield last season.

And a blast from the past, former Aces defenseman Doug Lynch, has re-upped with EC Salzburg in Austria.
