Letter: Trading lives for property

July 18, 2013

Pam Siegfried’s letter today (July 18) praising stand your ground laws speaks volumes for the primitive view of life.

Yes, under these laws you can stand your ground while someone tries to steal your car. But to what end? So they can run over you with it?

No, no, not like that. Study her second example and learn the right way to stand your ground. Carry a shotgun. Better yet, go out in groups carrying shotguns.

In short, be ready to trade lives for property.

Back to the beginning: Cain and Abel.
