Letter: Flowers seem to come to a stop

July 23, 2013

Walking around the park strip I couldn’t help but notice how beautiful the flowers are on the more affluent west side. What a stark difference it is when you get to the less affluent Fairview end. The city is grassing in sections that previously had flowers.

Excuse me, Mayor Sullivan, with all your cost cuts, but don’t the home owners in this area who also pay taxes deserve equal treatment? Shame on you.
