Letter: Attorneys didn’t know

July 24, 2013

Trayvon Martin had a prosecution team not knowledgeable about racist mind sets. I think any jury can see clearly if the prosecution can present clearly. That didn’t happen. In America right now there is such a thing as Wanna Be Whitemen.

George Zimmerman is not a Whiteman but, in a Hispanic tradition, he wanted to prove that he is to himself and to others.

It was a drive-by lynching on foot. The prosecution was or is inexperienced. I don’t think Zimmerman could see himself in this context either. That’s why conversations are important.
