ANCHORAGE, AK -- Four U.S. military service members – all women – will spend time in Bristol Bay, Alaska starting Thursday on an all-expense-paid sport fishing excursion sponsored by Trout Unlimited's Alaska Program. Trout Unlimited (TU) is partnering with Project Healing Waters Alaska, located in Anchorage, as well as Alaska Sportsman’s Bear Trail Lodge, and several veteran-service groups to offer a trip of a lifetime to these women and thank them for their service. The participants are either active-duty military or veterans from Alaska who experience physical or emotion disabilities due to their service.

WHAT: An all-expense-paid sport fishing trip to world-famous Bristol Bay for four female military-service members who have experienced physical or emotional injuries due to their service. The women will stay at Alaska Sportsman’s Bear Trail Lodge, located on the Naknek River near the Southwest Alaska community of King Salmon, renowned for its trophy rainbow trout, wild salmon, arctic char and grayling.

WHEN: The three-day, three-night excursion runs from Thursday, July 25 to Sunday, July 28.
