Ahtna Announces New Director of Human Resources

Anchorage, Alaska – Ahtna Netiye’, Inc. is pleased to announce that as of July 1, 2013, Ms. Terri Jerue joined our Ahtna HR team as Director of Human Resource.

Terri comes to Ahtna with over 13 years of strong, broad HR experience from Doyon Limited, CH2MHill and BP Alaska. She has successfully worked with Native Organization’s HR teams that were working through the effort of consolidation as well as large organizations’ HR shared services. She is known in the HR community as results-driven with a “can-do” attitude.

Ms. Jerue has held the national certification as Professional in Human Resources (PHR) since 2007. She is actively involved in the local SHRM chapter, in the Native community and in the oil and gas industry.

“I’m blessed to come back to my Native people and give back the HR knowledge, skills and talent I’ve received over the years. Although Ahtna has experienced a season of change, I’ve had the pleasure of working with the AI and AN board of directors as well as the subsidiary presidents and know they have the ability and foresight to lead the organization to growth and prosperity. I’m happy to be part of this diverse, dynamic team.”
