4.4 earthquake widely felt in Kodiak area

KODIAK -- A magnitude 4.4 earthquake on Friday was widely felt in Kodiak.

KMXT reports the quake was reported just after 12:30 p.m., centered 32 miles northeast of Kodiak. It was recorded at a depth of 14 miles.

There were no immediate reports of damage.
