Drug agents in Anchorage found 2 pounds of marijuana in a man's backpack Saturday at Ted Stevens International Airport, according to Alaska State Troopers.

Investigators with the Western Alaska Alcohol and Narcotics Team received a tip that the 34-year-old Koliganek man was transporting marijuana to Koliganek, a small community near Dillingham in southwestern Alaska. They served a warrant to search his backpack and found the drugs, according to an online post from state troopers.

The man's name was not released. Charges will be forwarded to the district attorney's office.
