Catching up with a few Alaska connections

The Blog's been off on a short trip during the ADN equivalent of a sequister, but is back, and trying to catch up on things.

So, let's get to a few Alaska connections who have booked work for the upcoming season.

Our man Tim Wallace, the winger from Anchorage with 101 NHL games under his belt, is headed across the pond to the Swedish Elite League, where he will play for Orebro. First time abroad for Tim, so hopefully it's a good experience.

Former Alaska Aces defenseman Nick Tuzzolino is headed to ECHL Fort Wayne.

Former Aces winger Scott Howes, the 2011 Kelly Cup MVP, is likewise headed to Europe for the first time. He's ticketed for Olimpja Ljubljana in Austria.

Lastly, former UAA winger Sean Wiles, late of ECHL Las Vegas, for whom he had a sweet goal-scoring season last campaign, is headed to the other coast, off to play for the ECHL champion Reading Royals.
