Letter: French has all the qualifications

August 20, 2013

What a great contrast next year’s race for governor offers. Hollis French worked 12 years in Alaska’s oil fields before getting into politics. Sean Parnell worked as an oil company lobbyist before he was governor. Hollis was instrumental in putting ACES on the books. Parnell pushed his giveaway though the Legislature. One person is looking out only for the oil companies, the other is looking out for us all.

It’s a simple choice: Let’s hire an oil worker, not a lobbyist, to run our state. Hollis French has my vote next November.
