The Seward Music and Arts Festival will feature The Builders & The Butchers during the festival, Sept. 27-29. The folk rock band based in Portland has Alaska connections and four albums to their credit. B & B alumni Ryan Sollee and Paul Seeley recently performed at Tap Root as part of a new group called Albatross.
Other performers listed at the website sewardfestival.com  include Melissa Mitchell, Super Saturated Sugar Strings, Barroom Roses, Melissa Mitchell, Historian, Seth Boyer and Nervis Rex.
Illaskan Assassins will also perform and teach workshops at the festival, which also includes arts, crafts food and a beer and wine garden. This is from a press release. The website doesn't note either B&B or the Assassins. At least not yet.
